Church Is True.

As you can see I'm pretty bad at keeping this blog updated. I'm getting use to this whole blogging thing.
Well the last two weeks have been pretty good.
My dad and my brother.

My brother turned eight in April, but because of his ear surgery we had to keep postponing he baptism. On August 3rd he finally got baptized! I can't believe he is getting so big! I still look at him as if he was just a little baby, but he is getting older and already making decisions all on his own. I was so glad I was able to see him get baptized next step for him is going on a mission (hopefully). :)

Oquirrh Mountain Temple.
Also the following week Jordon and I went to the temple together for the first time. No we did not get married, but we did baptisms for the dead and it was a wonderful experience. The temple that we went to was the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was a really good time being in the house of the Lord, there wasn't a lot of people so it was pretty quick but I still felt the spirit in there.

I love visiting the Temple, and I feel so lucky living in a place were there are so many temples around us. I do live in Utah so we are pretty spoiled here. Now my relief society are having this temple month were they are going to the temple once a week on this month of August, unfortunately I am working on the dates they are going. But that's not stopping me from going to the temple this month, I'm accepting the challenge but i'm just going on my own time.

San Diego Vacation.

Instead of dealing with 100 degree weather last week, I was enjoying 70 degree weather with my family and boyfriend in California. I've been looking forward to this vacation for a long time, and I'm sad it's over. I'm back to SLC, Utah :(

My trip to San Diego was AWESOME! I had a great time, to me it went by way fast. We left on Wednesday morning around 3 or 4 A.M and we got there around 5ish PM. So our first day we arrived we didn't do much, but I still wanted to explore the minute we got there.

After we got settled down and unpacked in the hotel Jordon and I borrowed the car to get bobba drinks. We are new in town so we couldn't understand the menu. There were a bunch of drinks listed on it and we weren't sure which had bobba, we asked and the employees weren't very helpful either. So we just ordered what sounded good, and it was pretty disgusting. We realized that we accidentally ordered milk ice tea bobba. We just threw those drinks away and called it a night.

The next day was pretty much our official first day, and we went to Sea World. We had a lot of fun, I was mostly with Jordon and my sister and we spent most of our day going on rides, but we did go see the dolphins, otters and other fishes. The park is so huge though and we weren't able to see everything. Since we got a seasons pass we thought we were going to go back and see more.

However, Jordon and I really wanted to go the Zoo the next day, so my parents basically left my siblings with us to the zoo. The San Diego Zoo is so BIG! if i knew my brother was going to be such a baby about walking so much we should have taken the tour bus. but did get so see most of the animals at the zoo, they had a lot of baby animals like a giraffe, panda and a pink flamingo. They were so adorable.

There was also a little petting zoo by the kids section. We all had a good time feeding the little fat goats, and there were cute little ponies to look at as well. After that we wanted to go see the polar bears but that's is when my brother started being a little fussy and we had to call it a day.

Although we didn't go see the polar bears we figured we didn't miss much because we saw some at sea world anyways.

Now this day felt so fast for me because it was already Friday when we were at the Zoo, and my parents were planning on leaving on Saturday morning. Jordon and I were a little bummed that we didn't even get the chance to go to the beach yet. We did go for a little bit on Thursday but we didn't get wet. Thankfully we convinced my parents to let us go again and this time have more time to enjoy it before the sun went down.

So on Friday we did go to the Zoo but we went to the beach that day as well. It was Jordon's first time going to the beach and i could tell him loved it. He was very entertained with the waves with my brother and I. We also played in the sand a little and went to this little mini amusement/fair park near the beach we were at.

So we did do a lot on our last day in San Diego, I loved it so much over there i wish i could just spend the rest of my summer over there. That place has perfect weather.

We did explore a little bit of Vegas and St. George on our way back home but that was pretty much my summer vacation.

I'm so happy that my boyfriend was able to come, he made it more fun for me. :)
